The First Asian Beach Games starts spearheading its drive for Games Volunteers

BABGOC (Bali, April 14, 2008) - As the opening ceremony to welcome the first Asian beach Games in Bali to the world is imminent, the pressure is on to find the 5400 volunteer workforce needed as a foundation for the success of the Games.

It is imperative that as much interest in becoming a volunteer for the Games is gathered as interested parties will go through a detailed introduction, screening and training before the Games in October.

The directorates will need between 100 to 2400 staff in each respective department so the Bali Asian Beach Games Organizing Committee welcomes attention from all interested individuals.

All participating volunteers will be given uniforms, meals and a transportation allowance and upon completion of duties regarding the Games, a Certificate of Participation.

Training will start in July and all volunteers will be expected to make themselves available for ‘Games-time’ starting in September.
